The HHC’s Solution Focused Supervision for Hypnotherapy Course (SFHsup), also known as the NCH Hypnotherapy Supervisor’s Course, is specifically designed to equip you with the skills and accreditation needed to take on this vital role, emphasising a solution focused approach to supervision.

Who Can Apply?

To join this course, you should be a practicing hypnotherapist holding the Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD). Additionally, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience and a minimum of 300 clinical hours working as a hypnotherapist.

Course Structure and Accreditation

The SF SUP (hyp) course is delivered over four individual days, spread across a 6-month period, dedicated to theory and to practical application. The program also includes a comprehensive online portfolio featuring questions, scenarios, case studies, live practice sessions with volunteer supervisees, and a written reflection assignment, all designed to foster a solution focused approach to supervisory skills.

Upon successful completion, you’ll receive accreditation by the NCH (National Council for Hypnotherapy) and the NCFE (Northern College of Further Education).

The NCH Hypnotherapy Supervisor’s Course has been accredited by the NCFE as having measurable learning outcomes that have been benchmarked at Level 5 using Ofqual’s Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) level descriptors.
